Creating Mystery

"And can you learn to reside in mystery?"

This is a question I often ask my women clients at some point in the coaching relationship. The poetry of the moment may or may not be lost to them and I always hope that it is not. 

This moment happened again just other day when I was working with a client* who's been working with me for a few years. She resides overseas in the UK and she's on an annual one-to-one weekly coaching programme. She's a professional and a mother and has made huge shifts in her capacity for self-love and acceptance, and her consequent ability to generate more income, more success and also provide for her daugher far more successfully, over the time she's been with me. 

We were actually were discussing the importance of assuredness and its place in our lives in the session...what it means, what it entails and its various costs and benefits, gifts and pitfalls. She's a driven woman, so this is a particular "quality" she values very highly.

"What might assuredness offer you?" I asked.

She replied it had given her traction and leadership and also been instrumental in her ability to rise up the corporate ladder. It had afforded her greater income and also allowed her to access better resources for her child.

But lately she's been aware there's a pull towards something different. 

And when this happens, I'm interested!  Glorious, sweet juice?

While assuredness appears to be the be-all and do-all of all good "success" driven projects in the world, I'm often working to catalyse and consider and invite my clients to develop and flourish from additional sensibilities.

How do you engage with the world?

I'm not going to go into long and detailed explanation of the underpinnings of my coaching approach, apart from saying that it is very successful and also very transformative - finally affording many women the  guidance and support they need to move throughout their world in new and novel ways...ways that exceed their previous held self-stories and accompanying behaviours.

This is beautiful. This is wondrous. This is astonishing and this is creating mystery.
