Your Power As A Woman
Your heroic power as a woman can be found in the simple line - the line of your voice, your expressive hand, your ageing leg, your stride across an office or a bedroom floor, or in your body’s grand navigation of a supermarket aisle, crowded by shoppers on a summer afternoon.
Your power resides in this distillation.
This poetry of concentration where form edges beyond boundary and the two fuse, not as a demarcation but as a coming together.
In this line, this orb and stretch, this great or lesser weight, the foetal curve, the wide open space of arms outstretched or legs parted.
Own your line, and, just as a tree is tapped for sap, tap your line and learn the subtle art of self-ownership in the world.
Owning.
Heal Your Body As Part of Your Spiritual Healing Journey
Ownership of body, of self with its complex shards and shades and shadows and lights; this body, this self with its fragments that scatter like marbles across a floor in childhood as the bath runs and the knife is grabbed and the dog barks beyond the back verandah door.
This owning of line, of silhouette that contains shadows and a multitude of you.
Would you, can you, dare to own who you are and what you are?
Can you own ALL THAT YOU ARE?
Your line; that story and that history; that present and future and and the necessary burst of radical tears and laughs and joys and rage all dancing together to make you that deity of full and celebratory human animal?
Find the new track… the simple line that is your line - our line together - shaped and forever shifting, between and beyond the tendril vines that hang down from your jungle canopy like a dark, green coiling lace of truth.
